Coco Lee is engaged to Canadian businessman Bruce Philip Rockowitz. Coco Lee and Philip Rockowitz, their wedding is planned for October 2011.

Accprding Coco Lee's Current career, in December 2010, Lee registered Four seas alliance (四海盟約), the theme song for the 2011 China television drama Water Margin (水滸傳).

In March, Coco Lee was invited by Jackie Chan to participate in the recording of "Artists 311 Love Beyond Borders" official theme song (Cantonese version) called Succomb not to sorrow (不要輸給心痛) with many other artists such as Eric Tsang, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok or Donnie Yen, to support Japan.

Then, on April, 7 2011, Coco Lee's new song Dreams on oriental seas (梦在东方的海上) featuring Sun Nan was broadcasted. this song is the theme for the 14th FINA world championships, that will take place in Shanghai on July 2011.

Coco Lee is also working on a new American album planned for Summer 2011.

On August 14, Coco Lee released her new Mandarin album East to west (CoCo的東西) with Warner Music.

It contains notably the songs "Party time", "Turn" (流轉) which is the soundtrack of the 3D Animation movie "The Legend of Silkboy" (世博总动员-湖丝仔) for the Shanghai World Expo 2010, the cover of Jay Sean's "Maybe" called "Love now" (愛要現在), but also "BYOB" ("Bring Your Own Bag") a song to encourage people to bring and recycle their own shopping bags to save the environment.

Then Coco Lee registered the song "Smile Shanghai" with other artists such as JJ Lin, Andy Lau, Jam Hsiao or Jane Zhang for Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Coco Lee In 2009, She ranked number fifteen in E! Entertainment's list of the world's 25 s3xiest pop divas, ahead of Kylie Minogue (number eighteen), Jennifer Lopez (number twenty) and other big names.

On Jully 17, CoCo Lee had a solo concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. She's the 1st Chinese singer to ever performed in this place. Coco Lee notably sang three Michael Jackson's songs Gone too soon, Rock with you and The way you make me feel in homage to her idol.

CoCo entered the "New Talent Singing Contest" (新秀歌唱比賽) on the advice of her mother back in 1993, when going back to HK for a vacation and she won second prize! She had entered singing contests originally because she had wrecked her mother's car and used her prize money to pay off the damages....

CoCo never intended to be a singer, but she was offered a recording contract by Capital Artists (華星) after her runner-up placing in the New Talent Singing Contest and took the opportunity

CoCo was majoring in Biochemistry and Bioscience at University of California Irvine as a pre-med prior to entering the music business and managed to maintain a GPA or 3.8 (nerd alert!!! :P)

CoCo is not the only singer in her family, apparently her mother and 2 sisters can sing as well!

CoCo's father passed away when she was quite young unfortunately. But however, CoCo has a step-father right now!

As of 2007, CoCo Lee has yet to break the U.S. market with a big smash hit single. Although both her English albums have sold modestly, regular airplay and recurrent airplay by radio programmers is still lacking. Her record company also failed to actively promote her English albums. As a result, CoCo Lee has not been able to "cross over" to the American market. CoCo Lee's most recent English single aimed at the North American market, although it is only released in Asia, is titled "No Doubt", the lead single from the album Exposed. Once again because of lax programming on radio station playlists, this single was ignored by radio. The singles have become chart and video television hits in Hong Kong and Taiwan among other places. The 2nd single from Exposed is the song "So Good", whose music video is increasingly run on Hong Kong and Taiwanese MTV.

CoCo Lee's follow up album to her C-Pop hit album Promise, titled Just Want You, features the hit single "Hip-Hop Tonight" with Vanness Wu, which follows in the same vein as No Doubt. The album Just Want You was released on September 22, 2006. The 2nd single from the album was "The Ninth Night", followed by the 3rd single "Love You at 85 °C" and the final single, "Dangerous Lover".

Coco Lee returned to San Francisco bay area for a live concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater on September 22, 2007 with special guest Alex To. It was her 1st live performance in her hometown in several years.

In 2008, "CoCo Lee" was chosen to sing one of the Olympic songs, "Forever Friends", opposite Sun Nan.

CoCo Lee's new chinese album East to west is going to be released on August 14th, including "I have a dream", "I love movies" and "Bring Your Own Bag", a song to encourage people to bring and recycle their own shopping bags to save the environment. The hit single is "Party time".

CoCo Lee, in 2002, she was the featured performer at a Houston Rockets NBA game. CocoLee became the first Chinese singer to ever perform the US National Anthem at a major global sporting event.

In addition to her status in the Mandarin music market, CocoLee's English-language performance has also received recognition. CocoLee's love song "Before I Fall In Love" was included in the soundtrack of the movie Runaway Bride.

CocoLee was invited by Andrew Lloyd Webber to perform Phantom of the Opera in China.

Also, Walt Disney Pictures hired CocoLee to sing the theme song and be the voice of the heroine Fa Mulan in the Mandarin version of Mulan. CocoLee recorded the song "Reflections", which CocoLeealso sang in the 2005 opening of the Hong Kong Disneyland. A "Reflections" Mandarin music video was also filmed. While the Lea Salonga English version is widely known, CocoLee also sang the English version, including one which she performed together with Lea.

The success of CocoLee 'sconcert in Taiwan in 1998, 2nd to Michael Jackson in terms of audience, with more than 30,000 people who watched, caught the attention of Sony Music United States and Tommy Mottola.

CocoLee has also been getting into acting. CocoLee co-starred in the Chinese comedy movie Master of Everything (aka Bamboo Shoot) with John Lone, which won the Best Foreign Film award in the 2005 Beverly Hills Film Festival. In the world of fashion and commerce, CocoLee was an Omega Global Ambassador in 2004, and fashion house Chanel named CoCo its first "Asian-Pacific Celebrity Ambassadress". This brought Ferren's story full circle somewhat, as CocoLee got her nickname CoCo from being an admirer of the firm's products. CoCo, as the YouthAIDS ambassador had been to Bangkok, Thailand for the global AIDS conference in 2004. She attended the conference as the representative of the Asian artists to meet various youth groups discussing what she can do to educate them about AIDS.

In early 2005, CoCo visited countries all over Asia to promote her latest album Exposed. During her visit in the Philippines, she guested in SOP and performed the songs "Do You Want My Love" and "I Will Survive" with Regine Velasquez. CoCo, together with pop singer Shaggy hosted the show while Velasquez won the trophy for the second time in a row as the Philippine's favorite artist.

In June 2005, CoCo's engagement with Canadian businessman Bruce Rockowitz was made public, apparently having taken place some months earlier. Despite their 18 years gap, Coco's mother approved the marriage. Before her relationship with Bruce Rockowitz, Coco has been rumored with the Taiwanese singer Wang Leehom.
